My experience is that freeing up all that space gives your mind and spirit some walking around room. They need space. You have to clear off the tables and move the chairs back against the wall and let 'em dance. Keeping your story forefront in your mind with no competition gives it priority and your mind will run with it. I mean, you wrote this five months ago so by now I'm sure you're falling asleep with your story on your mind and waking up with it already drinking coffee and staring like, 'what took you?'

This is really true - these days I can do an easy 1000 words per hour on it. The tabs are closed!!
